"Who Gives A Brand?" is a talk I've given many times over the years that evolves almost every time I give it. This is a video recording of when I gave it for the 2024 Small Business Conference held in Cocoa Village, FL. Topics covered include a definition of branding, why business owners and marketers should care about branding, the brand strategy process, and how to put it to use for your business. Also included in this course are some additional readings on defining the target audience - the folks who are most likely to become your customers or clients. And finally, I'm including a really interesting article that one of my past clients, Distill Research, wrote on what it's like to be a client and experience me going through the branding process with them then using that brand strategy to design a logo and website. Unfortunately Distill Research has disbanded since they wrote this article, but I still think it's a well written insightful piece and love that it's actually written by one of my clients, so I'm sharing it with you as well.
